In order to solve the dual problems of heat dissipation and fire prevention, the Equipment Research and Development Center of the Marine Corps Command was inspired by soldiers on the battlefield to splice different fabrics of clothing to meet different needs, and launched a new type of combat suit with sweat wicking and flame retardant functions - Flame Resistant Operational Gear (FROG). The abbreviation is the same as the English word for frog, so it is called frog suit.
